DUKE'S Announces All Natural Ingredient Initiative

BOULDER, CO - September 30, 2011, - Thanasi Foods LLC, the revolutionary snack food Company, has announced the conversion of its DUKE'S™ Brand of Beef Jerky, Steak Strips and Beef Brisket Strips to all natural ingredients. The all natural products will be available starting in Q1 2012.

"We are excited to be making history, as we become the only nationally distributed brand to be all natural across all SKU's in the category", says Justin Havlick, president and founder of Thanasi Foods, and also known as "JT Duke".

In addition to being preserved by all natural ingredients, the switch to all natural will include the removal of hydrolyzed soy protein, MSG, erythorbate, and sodium nitrites. "We are making a better-for-you product that carries delicious flavor from ingredients found in America's kitchens." He added, "This initiative keeps up with DUKES' small batch promise to make jerky the way it should be made - in small batches with simple and clean ingredients."

The all natural DUKE'S lineup will include:

  • DUKE'S - Black Magic Peppered Beef Jerky
  • DUKE'S - FRANK'S® REDHOT® Cayenne Pepper Beef Jerky
  • DUKE'S - FRANK'S® REDHOT® Chile 'N Lime Steak Strips
  • DUKE'S - Jim Beam® Bourbon Glaze Steak Strips
  • DUKE'S - Jim Beam® Hickory Smoked Beef Jerky
  • DUKE'S - Stubb's® Spicy Bar-B-Q Beef Brisket Strips
  • DUKE'S - Kikkoman® Teriyaki Beef Jerky
