BOULDER, Colo. - Thanasi Foods today announced the sale of 1 million bags of Jim Beam Original Kentucky Bourbon Soaked Sunflower Seeds.

Jim Beam Kentucky Bourbon Soaked Sunflower Seeds (both Original and BBQ) and Beef Jerky are now available in 25,000 retail locations, including 7-Eleven, Sheetz, Sunoco, BP's am/pm and ARCO locations, Circle K, Loaf 'N Jug, Flying J, Eckerd Drug, Acme Markets and World Market. Distributors include McLane Company, CORE-MARK International, EBY-BROWN, and HT Hackney.
Thanasi uses premium, in-shell U.S.-grown sunflower seeds soaked in Jim Beam prior to roasting, giving a slightly-sweet and smoky flavor. Much like cooking with wine, there is virtually no remaining alcohol content in the seeds.
